Erik Brooks is a Partner at ABRY Partners, LLC. ABRY is an investment organization with over $4 billion under management that exclusively focuses on media, communication and information service businesses. Brooks has invested in a wide variety of media and information business including video gaming, television broadcasting, children's content, telecommunications, healthcare software, publishing, alarm monitoring and data mining. Prior to joining ABRY, Brooks was an investment professional at NCH Capital, a private equity investment fund focused on the emerging markets of Eastern Europe and an Associate at Apax Partners, a later-stage venture capital fund. Brooks has been a director of Billing Concepts, Country Road Communications, Monitronics, Nexstar Broadcasting, Kidzco, Music Reports, Inc., Proquest, Brash Entertainment and Healthport. He received an M.B.A from Harvard Business School and graduated as a Bennett Scholar from Brown University.
